Trim the excess wood off around the core and lightly sand with a straight sanding board. Try and not sand into the core. Only to the core. Then attach the leading and trailing edges. Use Probond Polyurethane for this too. Use very little and spray the mating surface of the wood lightly with water. Do not spray the wing panel. Only the wood pieces you are going to attach. Do not use too much glue or it will foam over the edges of the skin and that will be terrible to sand off. To be sure that no glue gets on the outside of the skin, mask the leading edge of the skin. You only want the glue on the edge. Then if it does foam out, it will be on the tape and is easily removed.
